RYAN AND ALISON BRAUN

 
Husband and wife team Ryan and Alison are the makers behind Naked Mixers, handcrafting every batch, bottling, labeling, and shipping—all done in-house. Together since 2011, they combined their skills and ambitions to create something special. Alison, a special education teacher with a double master’s degree, was looking for extra income to help pay off student loans during the summer. Ryan, a Boise native, knew that the Saturday market was the perfect place to start. It didn’t take long for them to discover the magic of crafting their own locally sourced, handcrafted syrups, and Naked Mixers was born.

Emulate is a family-owned Idaho business that was started in 2002 to create all natural and pure body care without chemicals. Our products are made using wild and ancestral natural healing ingredients for pain relief, dry skin and rejuvenation of facial skin. Truly there isn’t another brand anywhere that compares to the natural healing qualities of Emulate, or is healthier for your body. All of our products are completely bio-degradable and earth friendly. They are chemical-free and safe for the whole family.

Emulate's natural ingredients originate from the mountains and meadows in South-Central Idaho where our family forages healing plants that have been used for centuries by our Native American ancestors. Our hand harvested herbs are used to make extracts and infusions in traditional practices that strengthen the potency of our formulas with essential fatty acids and vitamins A, E, D and K from penetrating oils of American Emu oil and organic Moringa oil.

JULIE STAUTS 

 In 2002, I was introduced to Emu oil to relieve pain from chronic spinal arthritis I had suffered from for several years.
Immediately my pain stopped, offering relief that lasted for hours! I was inspired beyond words to have found a remedy in a natural and safe source - and give full credit for my miraculous journey to God who works through me every day to help others. Within a year after starting to use Emu oil, I met a Native American medicine man who became my mentor and who shared and encouraged my growth in natural healing. My knowledge of wild healing plants grew quickly, and my family and I began wild harvesting these plants to incorporate into our organic body care products.

Our dedication to our craft, our products and to our customers that is a moral compass guiding our lives and our company. Now having been in business for 23 years, we have seen generations within the same family continue to be our loyal customers and we share our commitment to caring for each of these generations.

At Two Rivers Coffee, we believe that a great day starts with a great cup of coffee—and a great cup of coffee can only come from the world’s finest coffee beans. We find the world’s finest and freshest coffee beans and roast them with skill and care to provide our customers with superior coffees to please the most discerning of tastes.

We take pride in the fact that our beans are shipped from smaller scale plantations. This helps to ensure quality and support local industry and more individually rewarding trade practices as well as minimize the chemicals that go into processing the beans.  

At Two Rivers Coffee, we offer a diverse variety of single-origins, blends, and flavored coffees, each unique in their own right and always consistent in their quality. Our state-of-the-art roasting and processing techniques reflect our hands-on experience.  Here at Two Rivers Coffee, we have a profound understanding of coffee and an appreciation of the simple fact that the best beans provide you with that expected great cup of coffee.

 Nicol Tyler 

I moved from Riggins, ID to Boise at the age of 17, where I worked for 22 years collectively in the legal field along with a part-time security job at the Idaho Center, among other odd jobs.  After 14 years doing everything from a counter clerk, to in-court clerk, legal secretary, trainer, I eventually moved to private practice as a paralegal. 

While in Boise I enjoyed the North End, Hyde Park, and all that Boise has to offer - In-door events, from Hockey games to coffee shops, as well as the great outdoors, whether it be an outdoor concert or a hike on one of the many trails.  

At the age of 40, I decided it was time for a change. I purchased a coffee roasting company in my home town of Riggins to be closer to my family.  Riggins is full of all the things I love!  Warm weather (one of the warmest spots in the state) whitewater rafting, Steelhead fishing and boating in the majestic Salmon River, and ... 

more hiking. 

I love my IdaHome and feel blessed to have been able to experience the best of both worlds that our great state has to offer.  I love roasting coffee and making my ever-growing clientele happy with quality products and services.  Hearing how much people enjoy my coffee, and their stops at our eclectic café in this tiny tourist town has been a highlight of this business.  I hope you all get a chance to try it out.  Thank you for shopping small in the best state in the country!!

 Hello we are the Rowley family and welcome to Cherry Hill Farms on Chicken Dinner Road.  We have been growing and harvesting fruit in Idaho since 2012 and love it here. While our fruit is distributed commercially, we keep a strong focus on connecting with our community. We host seasonal family-friendly events so our neighbors can learn more about farms, fresh produce, and connecting with the earth. You won’t want to miss our seasonal U-pick—the largest U-pick event hosted by Cherry Hill Farms! Come to our Caldwell location between late July and the beginning of October for fresh apricots, cherries, peaches, nectarines, and apples, as well as a variety of garden vegetables!
